Mother - Needful Things

This is my Mum, as a little girl, living in Papua New Guinea. The gentleman sitting in the car was the family driver, he drove my mum and her brother to school everyday. Nan and Pop moved to PNG after WW2, where they lived for a few years, till they came back to King Island in Australia. this photo is very old and cracked, so i had it reproduced so i could keep it as it is. Her little cane basket was woven by the natives up there. Nan reckons it was a wonderful place to live back then.....I used the Scraps of Darkness March kit, called Needful Things....WOW what a kit, it keeps giving.....Thanksto Reneabouquets for her grungy gears, they are in her etsy store, check them out!
